Things to Know Before You Visit
Planning Your Visit
If you would like to visit the Museum of American Porcelain Art but are unable to attend during our regular open hours, please contact our curator, Carey, at (216) 223-7024. We will do our best to accommodate special visit requests whenever possible.
Group Tours
Group tours larger than five people cannot be scheduled during Free Admission First Wednesdays. While group tours may be scheduled during our Saturday open hours, we generally discourage tours during open hours, as we cannot predict overall visitor attendance and your group may not receive the level of attention we strive to provide. To schedule a group tour, please call in advance to make arrangements.
Personal Belongings
To help protect the artwork on display, all coats, scarves, and purses must be left in your vehicle or stored in one of our on-site lockers. Locks are provided for your convenience.
Photography
Photography is welcome for personal use. We kindly ask that visitors take a few steps back from the artwork and use zoom when photographing, rather than getting close to the exhibits.
Accessibility
All museum exhibits are located on the first floor of the building and are fully wheelchair accessible. The accessible entrance is located at a separate door—please ask a museum associate for assistance upon arrival, and we will be happy to help.
