Visitor Tips

On the main floor of the William E. Telling Mansion, guests will find the Main Gallery, the Legacy Gallery, the MAPA Library, and the MAPA Gift Shop. Additional room sin the mansion are also used for exhibits, programs, and events.

Due to the delicate nature of the art, we cannot allow handbags, backpacks, or coats in the galleries. We have lockers available for guests to use, or guests may leave their belongings in their vehicles.  MAPA has coat racks available for guest usage.

MAPA is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Children under the age of 13 must be with an adult.

Guests may park in one of two lots located in front and back of the buildings. We do have handicapped parking near the front door.

Guests may enter through the front door, which is located on the east/right side of the front parking lot.

First time visitors are encouraged to join a Public Tour prior to exploring the galleries for background on the art.  This brief tour includes a video that lasts approximately 15 minutes and plays throughout the day.

Photographs with phones or small cameras are encouraged, but we ask that additional photography equipment be kept in a locker or vehicle.

While you’re here, visit the MAPA Gift Shop for a unique gift for a special someone…or for yourself!
